Hot flushes and night sweats particularly affect women going through the menopause. These can be very uncomfortable and frustrating. Sage has traditionally been used to combat sweating. Raspberry leaves are used to balance female hormones. Combine both these plants in tea to regulate your body temperature.


Herbal Remedy: Sage and Raspberry Leaf Tea

½ tbsp fresh sage leaves (if dried, use half the amount)
½ tbsp fresh raspberry leaves (if dried, use half the amount)
200ml freshly boiled water
Pour the water over the washed sage and raspberry leaves, and leave to infuse for 8-10 minutes.
Sip a small wine glass full every 3 hours. NB Not to be used by pregnant women.
